Sree kerala Varma College, Thrissur is now in its post-golden jubilee period
The college was started on the eve of Indian Independence on August 11th
1947
Its first affiliation was as a college in Madras University
in 1972 it celebrated its Silver Jubilee...in 1997- the golden Jubilee
From very small beginnings, the college on the eve of its
50th birthday became the largest institution in terms of
student enrolment and teachers in the Calicut
University...
As the student strength increased so too the number and variety of courses
of study in arts, science and commerce...
In the same way, from courses in the degree level the college introduced in
course of time post graduate courses
From the academic year 2001-2002, the college does not have any pre-degree
students, because the students at +2 level are now in the school system... |
